ITINERARY DETAILS

Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to your hotel

Meet and greet with our representative at the Kilimanjaro international airport and you will be transferred to Arusha where you will be booked into a hotel so that you get ample time to rest before you officially start your safari the next day.

Day 2: Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park

Our first safari destination will be the Lake Manyara National Park. The Park is surrounded by a Lake, which makes almost ¾ of it covered in water. It is a good place for one to watch quite a large number of wild animals and birds inclusive. Drive through the Park and get a lunch break in between before continuing with the drive in the afternoon. Dinner will be served and an overnight spent at the camp.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park to Ngorongoro crater

Breakfast will be served at the lodge in Lake Manyara and then drive through Tarangire till afternoon. Lunch will be served before you drive to Ngorongoro crater for an afternoon drive. Ngorongoro crater is a host to a wide range of animals and some of these include zebras, eland, elephants, lions, giraffes, buffalos and hyenas to mention but a few.

Day 4&5: Ngorongoro crater

Day 4 & 5 will be spent exploring the Ngorongoro crater and all it has to offer. We will drive through the crater enjoying the serene beauty of the wildlife in the crater, take photos of the crater Rim and also get to visit the Olduvai Gorge, which will take you back in time to experience how the Bushmen lived. The lodge will be booked for two nights and all the meals will be provided all throughout your stay.

Day 6: Ngorongoro conservation area

On this day, drive through the conservation area until we get to Ndutu Lake where you will get to see the calving season in its full glory. The calving season is best seen between January and February during the rainy season. Get you camera ready and take as many photos of the calves as they try to move around the Park and you also get to see the predators hunting down the calves who try to move around on wobbly hooves. Later in the evening, have dinner before resting for the night at the campsite.

Day 7: Ngorongoro to Arusha

Have a nice and leisurely breakfast in Ngorongoro, enjoy a morning drive and then drive back to Arusha from where you will connect with the flight back home in Kilimanjaro. This will be the end of your safari.
